CEASCRO simply won’t die. Even after its death, project CEASCRO keeps publishing outputs.
No seriously, as a final loose end, old CEASCRO members and new RAD members Marko Jurjako, Luca Malatesti and John McMillan have edited a special issue of the European Journal of Analytic Philosophy that is entitled “Psychopathy: Philosophical and Empirical Challenges“.
The special issue is comprised of six original articles by renowned psychopathy scholars. The issue can be openly accessed here and here.
Project CEASCRO is dead,
long live project RAD!
This is an announcment that project CEASCRO has finished her four-year life path. Now its time to pass the baton to its descendants: big brother RAD and his protege Bcon.
Stay tuned for further developments.
Project CEASCRO’s department for natural kinds is keeping busy. This time Zdenka Brzović is flying solo!
Her paper entitled “Devitt’s Promiscuous Essentialism” (controversial much!) has been accepted for publication in the Croatian Journal of Philosophy.
Congrats Vena (Italo sic)!
The paper will be published in the next issue of the CJP that is dedicated to the work of Michael Devitt (CUNY).
Marko Jurjako, who not long ago came out from his doctoral egg by working in the project CEASCRO, is now flying very high. He has been awarded, for his outstanding scientific production in 2017, the National Prize for Science of the Republic of Croatia. Congratulations!
Another paper of the CEASCRO team has been published, this time in collaboration with dr Inti Brazil.
The paper entitled Some ethical considerations about the use of biomarkers for the classification of adult antisocial individuals has been published in the International Journal of Forensic Mental Health DOI: 10.1080/14999013.2018.1485188
Luca Malatesti, the CEO of the CEASCRO factory, has been awarded the annual prize for scientific excellence of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Rijeka. He mostly managed to impress the judges with the several co-authored outputs of the project. Although he has expressed gratitude to the co-authors, Marko Jurjako, Zdenka Brzović, Elvio Baccarini, Filip Čeč, Predrag Šustar, Vesna Šendula Jengić, and Jelena Hodak, he has neither disclosed the value of monetary reward nor whether he will share it with them…. But we congratulate him the same.
